The longest ride of the race starts with a hearty breakfast from 6:00 am to 8:00 am. Riders need to ride to the start area, 4 km from Kandalore, along Hwy #35. Signage will lead you back to where you finished the ride the day before. The event will begin at 9:00 am, winding you through 50 km of rough trail before a brief ride through Minden, ending in Haliburton. Riders will be bussed 10 km to the nights accommodations at Camp White Pine, with the first busses scheduled to leave at about 2:30 pm. Riders can occupy themselves at the park in Haliburton, and some food will be available. Buses will leave as they fill, and riders will load bikes onto the transport vans. The last bus will leave around 6 pm, transporting the last riders to White Pine. Dinner will be served at Camp White Pine at 6:45 pm. White Pine has great swimming, sports, excellent shower facilities, and lounging areas for riders arriving earlier and those who dont want to retire to their cabins too early. It is your own job to wash your bike, and riders will take their bikes with them to the cabin overnight.. After dinner riders will make their way to the theater for the awards ceremony and a preview of the final stage!
