February 7, 2012 - Crank The Shield 2012 is set to be the best yet! With all the course improvements we worked on in 2011 and continue for 2012, and two nights accommodation at the premiere Camp White Pine, this will be an amazing experience. We still have 40 spots for $599 plus HST which includes 4 star food, 2 nights of accommodations and one of Canada's best mountain bike experiences.
Mountain Bike Legend to Crank The Shield
(December 13th, 2011) – SCOTT/3 Rox Racing has added legendary Canadian mountain bike racer Geoff Kabush to their roster in 2012. Kabush is a 2-time Canadian Olympian, multiple World Cup podium star and the winner of the 2009 Bromont World Cup. His addition to the roster will propel SCOTT’s mountain bike program in North America.

Chico Racing is thrilled to announce a new presenting sponsor of Crank the Shield (CTS). Kijiji.ca, has come on board for next year’s exciting event -Ontario’s MTB stage race.
Kijiji.ca, one of Canada’s most popular online classifieds has been a partner of Chico Racing for the past two seasons. Kijiji.ca has helped Chico Racing launch the very successful Chico YouTube channel, and has now extended their sponsorship to included Crank the Shield 2012. “Working with Kijiji.ca over the last couple of seasons has been phenomenal. Not only do they support our events, but they also jump on their bikes and join in on the fun!” explains Adam Ruppel of Chico Racing.
