Crank The Shield 2012 Trail Previews

by Adam Ruppel on 29-Aug-12 11:26

We've received a lot of requests for course maps and elevation profiles for each stage of Crank The Shield 2012. However, due to a heavy reliance on private lands and our desire to make Crank a true adventure, we've decided not to post course maps until last minute before the event.

However, course designer Sean Ruppel has decided to share the trails in Haliburton Forest that will be featured in CTS 2012. This trail network is accesible to the riding public for a very reasonable fee. Additionally, Sir Sam's Ski and Bike is also open for riders to preview even more of the awesome trails featued in CTS 2012. Check out the Haliburton Forest trails on Sean's map below and head to www.sirsams.com.
